Pulse Radio
Community Radio for Cheddar, Winscombe and surrounding area's.

Pulse Radio in Cheddar is an Internet radio station which has applied for a Community Radio 5 year licence from Ofcom, This week 3 licences have been awarded for Community radio stations in the South West and we are waiting to hear from Ofcom to see if Pulse Radio has been awarded a licence.

Fundraising

I have just moved to Banwell and have been a fund-raiser for Macmillan Cancer Support for many years and am looking to form a group of local people who are interested in helping to raise much needed funds for Macmillan. No committee or official positions, just an informal group of like-minded people who like to give sometime to charity work. I have booked Banwell Village Hall for 30th September for a World's Biggest Coffee Morning and will be coordinating a Macmillan Christmas Fair at Sidcot School in November. Bristol Freecycle

The worldwide Freecycle Network is made up of individual groups across the globe. It's a grassroots movement of people who are giving stuff for free. Each group is run by local volunteer moderators.
